Act V: Grond, Elendil and The Sticks of Creation
Act V begins as follows:
- Elendil:
- Elendil is reborn in the Plane of Emptyness aka "Thanatos", barely alive.
- He finds the unexpected hospitality of Bladelings and recovers his strengths. Still no connection with the Weave, however.
- Escorted to the bank of River Styx, then continues on his own.
- After crossing the Wastes of Coal, he realizes to have entered the Realm of Baator. More specifically Avernus, 1st Layer of the 9 Hells still ruled by the Half-Succubus named <.....>.
- Bargains his way to Toril, undertaking the burden of "owing her".
- Elendil is given transport to the Mhair Jungles, and starts walking towards east, till a patrol group of Halruaan Scouts captures him. First signs of Weave manipulation.
- They are ambushed by a group of Vampires, who bring Elendil before his old subordinate Dantalien.
- The Druid transports Elendil to the long-ago house of the Five Furies, a now abandoned castle by the shores of Lespenlake.
- Elendil lays low there for 4 months. Weave manipulation powers fully restored. First contact with Gon.
- Elendil and Dantalien fly all the way to Vihlon Reach where - based on Gon's intel - Grond's soulstone is being kept safe.
- In the tallest peak lies Kelemvor's most ancient Monastery. There Elendil gets trapped while Dantalien escapes with the Devil-touched Ogre's soulstone.
- Elendil is set free by the very Monk's of Kelemvor, shaken by the threat of revived Grond.
- Continues in "Universal / General"
- Grond:
- Immense force of Divinity driven by Merna, now known as Hextor's Fallen Arm, puts Grond's body and spirit back together.
- Grond "convinces" Dantalien to move out for Elendil.
- Kelemvor's ShadowWyrm perishes to Grond's axe, permanently closing its eyes after almost 2 millenia.
- The DeathGod's Acolytes are forced to give Elendil up.

Re: Act V: Grond, Elendil and The Sticks of Creation
ACT V ended with Elendil choosing to abandon all desire of the Sticks of Creation and follow Mystra. Quickly after he was named the Fourth Magister.
Grond followed Xvim in his Cult's Cave and slayed the drunk with power Son of Hextor. He then somehow absorbed his power, leaving his mortal life behind.
NOTE: Second encounter with Cyric himself, during his ritual aiming to consume part of the Weave, at the Twin Towers of Amn. Elendil, Grond and Xvim escaped a certain death as The Lord of Lies apparently "was denied" part of his power. The Mad God bled for a second time in the past 60 years and the Twin Towers were turned to ashes. Elendils and Merna's daughter dies.
